Terms and Conditions

General

There is no membership fee. New Roanoke WineClub members commit to receiving at least four (4) of Roanoke Vineyards Wine Portfolios per year.

Perks & Discounts  

Roanoke Vineyards Wine Club members receive four (4) wine portfolios of four (4) wines per year, conveniently delivered to a home or business address of their choice. Pick up option is available from our two locations. Other benefits include priority access to Roanoke Vineyards Estate Series, Limited Estate Collection, Specialty Wines, one (1) complimentary wine tasting flight per day at the Vineyard Tasting Room, or at Tulio’s NY Wine Bar in Mattituck, great discounts when you purchase bottles: 10% off one bottle, 15% off 2 bottles, and 20% off of 3 bottles or more. invitations to exclusive club events, and much more.

Members must be active and in good standing to take advantage of Club benefits and privileges. To be considered in good standing, all charges for wine club shipments must be current and the latest Wine Portfolio paid in full.

Wine club discounts and benefits are exclusive to the person(s) named on the account.

Quarterly Wine Portfolios

Club members will receive four (4) wine portfolios of four (4) bottles. New members who join between shipments will receive the most recent selection depending on inventory availability then continue with the next regular shipment. A new member is considered active after receiving their first shipment.

Your Wine Club Portfolio will be available for pick up for 90 days. After 90 days, your shipment will be unpacked and returned to stock. The wine will still be available for you to pick up, however, we cannot guarantee we will still have the same vintage or varietal after an extended period. In the event wine is no longer available, we will replace it with something comparable. Roanoke Vineyards ship during the cooler months, usually February, April and October, in order to avoid heat damage to the wines. Roanoke Vineyards will only ship to: AK, NYS, NJ, DC, FL, PA, MN, and CA.  

Value

The cost for the portfolios varies from $130-$145 for those that are pick-up customers. If you are a shipping customer (where applicable), there are shipping costs that will be applied and automatically charged to the member’s credit card on file.

The member understands that she or he is responsible for all costs incurred if a wine shipment is returned to the winery, has to be reshipped, or is not picked up.

Return or Rerouting of Packages

Generally, three (3) delivery attempts will be made before a package is considered undeliverable and returned to the winery. If someone is not able to be home during delivery hours, we suggest shipping to a business address to receive your shipments or a convenient UPS store for pick up. Or you have the option to be a “pick up” member. We highly recommend signing up for UPS My Choice if you need to redirect, delay the delivery date, or have the package held at UPS will call center. Additional fees apply. When a package is returned (or rerouted to a new address), the member is charged a fee to cover carrier charges incurred. If a package is returned due to three (3) unsuccessful delivery attempts, the member will pay a reship fee equal to the amount of the original order. Members are encouraged to avoid this situation by ensuring that wine club shipments are delivered to an address where someone over twenty-one (21) years of age is available to sign for the package, or have it held at the carrier’s closest center for pick up.

If a delivery attempt is missed, the package can be rerouted to an alternate address upon request to the carrier. Please note, shipments cannot be rerouted across state lines. If you have further questions, email wineclub@roanokevineyards.com or a call to the wine club team at 631.727.4161.

Billing

Wine Club Portfolios are billed to each member’s credit card on file in/near the months of March, June, September, and December. All wines will be available for pick up at the Vineyard in Riverhead or at Tulio’s NY Wine Bar in Mattituck approximately three (3) days after credit cards are charged. Weather permitting, shipping will take place between three (3) and five (5) days after credit cards are charged.

Returns and Exchanges

Roanoke Vineyards  will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed or that the customer finds unsatisfactory. We ask the customer return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed. Please send an email to info@roanokevineyards.com to arrange for the return of corked or flawed product. All merchandise and other non-alcoholic items are non-refundable unless damaged.

Once the wine is received we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges.

On Hold

The membership may be placed On Hold for up to two (2) shipments if needed for travel, relocation, health issues and/or financial reasons. While membership benefits will be suspended, the membership start date will be maintained.

Cancellations

Roanoke Vineyards Club membership may be cancelled any time after receiving at least three (3) Wine Club Portfolios.

Changes and cancellations to membership records must be made in writing by email to wineclub@roanokevineyards.com or U.S. mail to P.O Box 144, Riverhead, NY thirty (30) days prior to the next scheduled shipment.

Roanoke Vineyards’ Rights

The Wine Club membership and its benefits are offered at Roanoke Vineyards’ discretion. Roanoke Vineyards reserves the right, without limitation, to terminate, change, limit, modify, or cancel any of the Terms and Conditions and to cancel, suspend, or revoke any membership to any member at any time for any reason, without further obligation to Wine Club members or others. Roanoke Vineyards  may change or modify the Terms and Conditions by posting the updated Terms and Conditions at www.roanokevineyards.com. Your continued participation in the Roanoke Vineyards Wine Club after such posting constitutes your acceptance of the new or different Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions supersede all previously published terms and conditions in their entirety.

Members (or gift recipients) must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older and understand that upon delivery, an adult signature is required, and packages will not be left at the door.
