2008 Roanoke Vineyards Cabernet Franc: 87.5% Cabernet Franc, 9.4% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Merlot. The result of an incredible vintage for this varietal, this beautiful red brick and cranberry-colored Cabernet Franc showcases tremendously complex aromatics; black cherry, cocoa powder, briar and autumnal forest notes, and more. The exceptionally balanced structure juxtaposes bright blueberry and sweet cranberry with bittersweet dark chocolate and traces of licorice to create a cross-palate spread of silky tannins and food-friendly acidity. Will pair well with rich pasta dishes, game, and beef, as well as nuts and blue-veined cheeses. Enjoy now or cellar for optimum aging potential.

2007 Roanoke Vineyards Blend 2: The nose of this three-varietal blend (71% Cabernet Franc, 17% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon) balances the mouth-watering tang of red cherries with a crisp spiciness, and both are overlaid with a soft blanket of oak-derived vanilla cream. The bright fruit character remains steady throughout, while fresh mint, basil, and eucalyptus, interwoven with darker notes of cassis, licorice, and just the slightest trace of a tobacco-like earthiness...

2007 Roanoke Vineyards Blend One: Described by The New York Times as "opulent," the 2006 Roanoke Vineyards Blend One is soft and round, like a great lover. Driven by a powerful 80% Cabernet Sauvignon content, the wine arrives in your glass with solid structure, giant berry flavors, and perfect tannins. Cabernet Franc provides nuance and complexity to the wine. It's absolutely perfect.
