--Roanoke Vineyards, one of the westernmost plots in Long Island, won me over the minute I opened the doors of the small, white, barn-styled tasting facility, stepped into the cozy, softly lit tasting room, and was hit with John Coltrane's wailing opus, A Love Supreme. The music, the dark yellow lights casting shadows across the thick gloss on the wood of the walls and the bar … talk about mood. Now, let's talk about the wine.--
