Amanda Fortuna
It's not every vineyard that has a national arm wrestling champion. Amanda holds that title as well as serving as our Wine Librarian. Four time World Arm Wrestling Federation Champion (for her weight class), Amanda has successfully defended her title in 26 countries, most recently at the W.A.W.F. World Championship in Barcelona. While she's famous for her strength, she's also noted for her ability to blind taste wines. She can spot a Malbec from a mile away, and tell you how many days a Chardonnay has been in oak. When not at Roanoke, Amanda can be found consulting in Bordeaux.
