Adam Ehmer
It's not every vineyard that has a resident rocket scientist!
Well, OK, so he's a bug scientist. But still! Adam's wealth of information comes in handy! Just two years ago Ad was a mild mannered academic, working quietly on his PhD at Stony Brook. Then, one night someone slipped him a bottle of the Roanoke 2004 Merlot and everything changed. He's still the smartest guy in the room, and he's still as handsome as ever, but now he's a sommelier (in training), an experienced grape picker, and lead singer in the Roanoke Vineyards' band (aka "Purple Krush!"). Adam conducts daily business in the Roanoke Tasting Room, as well as most of our special group tasting events. Originally a native of Indiana, Adam now is a devoted East Ender.
