Tasting Room

Tasting wines at Roanoke Vineyards is a unique, educational, and delicious experience!

We pour wines from not one, not two, but three renowned Long Island producers: ourselves (Roanoke Vineyards), Wolffer Estates, and The Grapes of Roth. (Our owner, Richard Pisacano, is the long-time Vineyard Manager for Wolffer, and Roman Roth is the wine-maker for all three.) This makes for an extraordinary opportunity to sample some of the absolutely finest artisanal wines in the region.

We offer three different tasting flights: seven days a week, you may choose from either a White Wine Flight or a Red Wine Flight, each of which features a sampling of different wines from both Roanoke and Wolffer. On weekends, we also offer a Premium Mixed flight, which is a flight that features both White Wines and Red Wines, and specifically showcases a number of very rare, limited-production, top-shelf Red Wines, including The Grapes of Roth, a much-heralded private release from our wine-maker All of our flights are served with a small platter of bread and cheese.

All of our staff members are courteous, highly-trained, well-educated wine servers, who are eager to take you through a tasting that is both aesthetically satisfying, and informative. Please don't hesitate to ask questions, we're here to help!

In our tasting room, we are dedicated to presenting a soothing, comfortable, low-key environment that is distinguished by high ideals: we want to educate our customers about wine because we believe that the more you know about wine quality, the more you'll appreciate the quality of our wines.

Our new Tasting House is now available for private bookings! For meetings, corporate events, family celebrations, extra-special wine outings and more, our new Tasting House is an ideal way for you and your group to enjoy a private, hosted tasting. Located on the grounds of Roanoke Vineyards, directly adjacent to our vines, our new Tasting House can accommodate up to 25 people for an intimate, informative, and delicious private wine tasting!
